Red and Redish
I have been on the hunt for red. It even compelled me to ask a stranger if I could take her picture. She just looked so beautiful working while sitting on a red bench. When she leaned over to reach for something and I snapped it, I just knew it was going to be good.....and it was. The blooms were startling, because even though it feels and looks a little like spring, it is FEBRUARY and WINTER.
The challenge goes on with exploration of my camera; exposure compensation and histograms. I love this kind of learning. I am accepting the challenge and learn more everyday.

Day 49
Day 49 for the Photo Challenge and I have managed to shoot and submit everyday. I can't believe it.
Without a doubt the highlight of the week was last Sunday at the Valentine Day Party. I took tons of pics.
Our host surprised us with live music.
The drummer gave me motion for the challenge. I got my lines from the clock, and the Yardley pond gave up the mallard for nature in my neighborhood. Can you see the little droplets of water on the Mallard? And how about texture, what a great subject for a days photochallenge. I found it in the Pussy Willow. Todays challenge was black and white and that was hard for me. It is a rarity for me to think about shooting black and white so todays quest really had me thinking. On my way for groceries I thought about where I might get my black and whites and found myself at the old Railroad Station.
This winter has been the most mild one I can remember. Furm went for a motorcycle ride today. 50 degrees definately seems warm for February but still too cold for me to ride.

Full Moon
It took two moons for me to get from the first picture to the table topper I finally selected. One more full moon and my river and covered bridge images should be hanging at the FULL MOON CAFE, in Lambertville. Crazy! I like being retired... as the one a day challenge continues I continue to be amazed by the images everyone selects for their postings and the improvements I see in my own work. For all my friends who see this Im putting my nails in March 5. The posters will be hanging straight through April and out early May, unless purchased. Now that would be nice...one purchase.
Delaware Chews at the Full Moon Cafe often and couldnt be more excited.

Photo Challenge Continues
Repetitive patterns, no post processing, trying to capture images through glass, framing....practice practice everyday. Mirror shots were not part of the challenge but I found them useful for framing and repeat patterns. I wasnt supposed to be in the last one..but there I am.
I found an old roll of film and loaded it up in my old VIVITAR. Im on the hunt for a battery for the camera so I can use the light meter. Ill let you know how it goes.
Delaware got her Chews in at the Princetonian Diner...but I did not eat desert...just drooled over it.
