It was drizzling when we arrived at Newark Airport but the closer we got to our destination the more beautiful the sky appeared. We had a happy landing. BLUE skys here and warm in the sun and cool in the shade. The apartment is small with just what we need. We unloaded our bags and took off toward the sea. A few minutes walk and we were in the old area of Jaffa and could see modern Tel Aviv not far off in the distance. Of course, we had to try the BEER. We were directed to the Bridge of Wishes where we made a wish for peace among all nations and a more selfish one for our safety. Im pretty sure the latter will come true. Might take a while longer for the former.
