Sunday Funday at JB Klines

I was notified by my friend, Mike, about  a  contest at JB Klines in Lambertville and decided to enter.  They had a wine and cheese and voting opening and I went to that too.  I hung around like the photos for a while to watch the viewers and received several compliments and I HOPE VOTES on my Blue Bird.  It was fun to watch people try to guess what bridge was captured in my other entry.

Blue Birds Might Be Here To Stay

Went back to the Washington Crossing Park for an early morning bird walk.
I think the Blue Birds are here to stay...
unless of course they fly away....

Painting with CS3

I wonder if the Eastern Bluebirds will stay in the park all year.
I hope so...
I had to crop this quite a bit due to my distance from the subject.
It started off as a fairly decent image, although since the bird was chest to sun, perhaps over exposed. I made a minor light adjustment, applied
a soft brush filter,  and added pixels back so I could enlarge it.
I like the painted look.
