Delaware Views Anew
Spring Spring Spring bring on your blooms, blossoms and bounty. I need to see and smell SPRING.
This was fun to make. I adjusted the colors with curves, used a windy filter and the extrude filter and then went back and saturated the colors.

Delaware Views Anew
I really like the artistic filters in CS3. Dry brush, paint daubs and Palette knife are my favorites. They tend to be a little harsh when enlarged so I sometimes will use a blur tool to smooth it out.
I don't think I will be waiting until bathing suit weather to see the ocean...next nice day I'm going.

The Tulips Wilted
It took me a long time to get over my Photo Shop phobia.
Now I love playing with color in CS3. I like the Wave filter. Filter, Distort, Wave.
Then a little slip and slide on the scales.
I can hardly believe I can instruct as such.

Back at the Howell Living Farm.
This image was transformed using both Windows Live to crop horizontal from a vertical image and Photoshop CS3 to add paint effects and text.

Sunday Funday and Oh So Cold.
The girls kicked my butt yesterday out cross country skiing. Left me in the dust huffing and puffing and sweating in way too many clothes. Not to mention I was scared to bring my camera with me lest I fall. WHICH I AM PROUD TO SAY I DID NOT. Had to get my fun playing around with images I took already. I'm really starting to have an appreciation for sepia and color filters. Every time I learn something new in Photoshop CS3, I realize just how little I know. Every menu seems to open up more opportunities for modifications.

Black Swallow Tail
I observed these three Black Swallowtails in what I believe to be their final caterpillar state before wrapping themselves up in a Chrysalis for the winter. They ate up most of the Parsley and then there was just one on the stalky remainders of the plant. I found the other one wiggling around on the tire of our grill so I brought it back to the Parsley. Or at least I thought I did until about an hour later when I felt something moving on my chest...just above my shirt line. Oy...sticky little foot pads they have.

Fun at the MET and Long After
Photoshop really is a phenomenal thing.
So is the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Put the two together and BAM
Yes, I think my next few installations might be from
the NYC museums visited recently
