Delaware Views Anew

There is so much to learn regarding post processing.  Sometimes it is a simple conversion from color to black and white.  Other times the purpose of post processing is to enhance the original image by adjusting the light, adding some contrast, maybe even sharpen up an image.
For the very basic adjustments I work in Windows Live, a free download, apparently closed down last year (discovered that when I went to look for the link for you) but still working fine for me.
If I want more than enhancement I go to Photoshop CS3

Shooting around the house on a cold winter day.

Miles on Birds and Bikes

While I was home and cozy putting a few more miles on the colorful
Bird of Paradise and then making a frame for it, hubby was bundled up for the cold
and putting some miles on the K1600.

PHOTOSHOP PHUN

The Inn at Lambertville Station had a lovely tree in their lobby...used photoshop to lighten up the foreground just a little bit to balance out the back lighting

I thought it might make a nice KALIDAGLOBE and it did.

It was so foggy yesterday that even by 11 you could hardly see across the river from Lambertville to New Hope

It had lifted some by the time I got home late afternoon.  And then another Miracle....Frosty was decorating the river front with lights and BALLS.

A Day at the Farm a Night at Play

Thursday was farm day for me and the flowers were  blooming. Caught the little cutey out in the field picking flowers with her grown ups.

When I got home I just had to play.

As darkness fell, I took some glow sticks outside and tried with limited succes to photograph the light they emitted.  With a little help I grew a glow flower

and made a kalidaglobe.

August Days

We finally got some much needed rain......so I went to the river and did a ballerina dance.
On the way back up the steps I noticed the brown leaves and really took heed of what all the heat this summer has caused..perhaps an early fall?  But as trees loose their leaves other critters are preparing for more.  Saw these Silk Moths at the preserve when I arrived for my volunteering at 9am.  They stayed like this until I left at 1pm. It was right about then that I learned they will die soon after seperating but not before the female lays her eggs..if she is lucky.  Still playing around working on FUNKY FLORALS, Kalides and Kalidaglobes.
