With all this color exploding all over the place and with Spring seemingly holding off as long as possible I was feeling a little Black and White.
Windows Live Photo Gallery is really a simple program to facilitatate getting organized an to make some adjustments. I cant say after a few minutes I would be able to do any better with these black and whites in Photoshop Elements...hmmmm could be a nice experiment.
C'mon SPRING...we are all ROOTING for you.
Perfect day to get into Philadelphia on Wednesday.
We saw beautiful wall murals before we even parked the car.
If you ever go to Sabrina's go with a BIG appetite.
It was close enough to the Rodin that we walked on over passing the new Barnes on the way.
Our docent/guide was excellent and we learned some about the Thinker and the Gates to Hell
The gates are not really gates at all as they are not meant to open but to be displayed.
It is rather large with a lot to look at, so I just focused on some of the parts that I found most interesting.
It was still pretty early in the day when we finished at the Rodin so we walked on to the Museum of Art. Although we went hoping to see some Stieglitz images, and did, we ended up enjoying the Outsider Art Exhibit a lot more. Get this...they gave us a free headset for this exhibit and it was attached to a GALAXY Cell phone...very intuitive and lots more info. Really cool feature.
After three years of reconstruction the Washington Crossing Visitor Center has now opened to the public. The sun shined on Sunday and there was quite the to do with dignitaries, speeches, ribbon cutting, reanacting soldiers and their weapons. Those in costume were well educated on their personas and you could have a nice chat with them and learn something new. There was a good turn out and it made us feel proud to be part of this community
