A First Time For Everything...Leader of the Pack

I have never had the urge or inkling or even a twinkle of a thought to post someone else's image or work on my blog until this morning when I saw this.  It was just too funny and a great demonstration of talent and creative thinking.
Georgiann, I would love to lead this pack and ride with these women anywhere, anytime.
Now all we need are the SCOOTERS!!!!.

oh ya...and a whole lot of hair goo to keep me looking so dang hot.

Delaware Chews at THE DINER in Jamesburg, NJ

Went out last Saturday morning on the BMW K16 GTL motorcycle with Englishtown Auction as our destination.  We knew we would stop for breakfast, and as we had been through Jamesburg before,
we knew we would stop there, but we did not know exactly where until we saw the sign,
THE DINER.
What a wonderful surprise.  Great friendly service and a delicious French Toast Nest for me.  Two pieces of thick bread French Toast, each with  a nice little nest to hold an egg cooked any style.  I chose poached.  As you can see, it looked so good I couldn't wait to dig in and had to stop myself
before I ate so much there was no picture to take.  YUMMY.

Hydrangea

I just love Hydrangea.  They seem easy to grow and have great color that lasts for quite a while.  The blooms are huge,  easily cut for arrangements and dry well.  They are also fun to photograph and modify in CS3

I Phone Fun and CS3

I have heard it said that the best camera is the one you have with you.
When it was time to take the Peonies off the table I had my I phone nearby.  It only took
the slightest movement to cause the petals to fall.
I liked everything about the way it looked except the oak table...so I changed it in CS3.

Delaware Cruise: Rolling through the Weekend

What a beautiful weekend to roll on through sitting behind my man on the BMW GTL.
Cool, crisp, fresh morning air, blue skies and green landscape.
Out to breakfast both Saturday and Sunday.  YEHAAAA.
We went off to English Town Auction on Saturday.
See where I  cleaned my plate when Delaware Chews on Friday.
Sunday we enjoyed breakfast out as well, and stopped to see the Sunflowers
planted at Lake Nockamixon.  Sadly, they had already been mowed, although
I cant figure out why.  So we hung out long enough
to arrive shortly after New Hope Craft Guild's Show
at the New Hope Winery opened.
We saw Betty there!

Rolling Through Lambertville, NJ

I have been looking for some unique views to show the details of
Lambertville, NJ.  Think I got one in the wagon wheel.
Might even go back and play a little more with it..
It was a good day of camera play with my sister.

Delaware Chews at the Beer Authority in NYC

After the show last week we were looking for a place to eat.
Looking up hubby saw a third floor rooftop restaurant and this sign.
You know we had to go!

Pretty cool too.  It was a beautiful day and after being in the theatre it was nice
to dine outside.  Turned out to be a Mexican style place up there on the roof top
with a wide selections of beer.   At 40th and 8th, and not far from Port Authority, it was a convenient stop for us on our way back to the train station.
Food was decent and they accommodated my request for a modification.  They had long tables so you might have to share, but it wasn't so crowded that we couldn't have a little space at the end.
Reasonably priced...good place to know about.

Delaware Reviews: Magic Garden Philadelphia PA

Walked passed this place while doing a Philly Mural Walk a while back
and decided to come back and get inside.  WELL WORTH the $7 entry fee
to get into this Magic Garden.
Situated on South Street it was not far from restaurants and shops.
I must say it was a bit overwhelming, but when given some time
to look at detail it was just fascinating.  Before departing the area
we took a walk around the block to look at other murals and when we got to
the back of the building we noticed the real gallery garage door was wide open
We could not resist going back in for a last peak
and ran right into the owner and artist Isaiah Zagar.

Iphone Fun and Special Friends

For over a year now, I have been carrying my Olympus OM-D with me where ever I go.
Every now and then I pull out the Iphone for a quick, no adjusting settings, image.
It was a real surprise to answer my door and receive these flowers on my 25th anniversary.
Especially when I looked at my husband and smiled and he was shaking his head
as if saying, NOPE, not from me!
Some friends are just very thoughtful and special.

Experimenting With Font

There is so much to do in Photoshop it is mind boggling.
The sun and laughing leaves, taken from a wall display, were cut out with a magic wand from one image, copied,  and pasted onto a second image of the sky.
I have been using text for quite a while now, but just recently learned how to
manipulate it.  I can see lots of experimenting is on the sunny horizon.

Play to Win - A Few More From the Middletown Grange Fair

Fairs are great places to go and search out fun photo ops.
Many things are lined up to be judged and some things are lined up
to win. There is plenty of good old fashion
Americana and lots of color.

Middletown Grange Fair Makes Me Rethink MEAT

Seems like we have been heading to the fairs lately.  We go on the motorcycle and get good parking and then usually grab a Sausage Sandwich.  Yesterday we went to the Middletown Grange Fair in Wrightstown.  We had burgers and the table we had was right across the way from where the 4H Cows were being shown and rated.  Kinda weird.

Wheres the Beef?

Here it is

Delaware Chews Times Two

We knew we would want a snack after visiting the Intrepid and before the theatre so we stopped for a slice at Sal's.  Just a small little joint with seating for 9.  Three bar seats and 6 table seats.  We grabbed a table and sat and relaxed for a bit while all the other folks who stopped by went back out with their food.  Sal's is located down on 10th between 48th &49th...good selection of sandwiches and great options for some yummy pizza.

After the theatre we stopped at the original Frankie and  Johnies on 45th...we ordered drinks at the small little bar downstairs.  The bar tender was a little chilly...so we decided not to order dinner there.
We took a walk towards the train station and spotted a low rooftop with a crowd and a sign that my man could not ignore. Located on 8th and 40th it was a good perch and with the day being so delightful it was nice to be outside above the street.

Turned out to be a Mexican joint and the food was pretty yummy

Another City Day

We could not have asked for better weather for a day in NYC
We went down to the piers and
boarded the Intrepid mid morning.

We wondered all around inside and out.
The Concord looked really nice.

I just love the flowers for sale around the city.  Passed these on the way to the theater

We were a little early so we took a seat in the sun at World Plaza.

25 Years Ago Today

Please excuse the quality of these images as they were all scanned.
I love them all anyway.
25 years ago today I walked down an aisle surrounded by family and friends. My parents
were holding me steady and a young handsome and excited man stood in front of me.
It would never have been  possible without these folks.
