Bee collecting pollen from Marigold







This is pretty cool. I wish you could see it blown up so the bee is as big as a hand...you can really see what is going on then. You have to look close to see that this bee is digging for pollen and storing it under the soft feathers of its back legs. Can you see it?

    These are lovely! Taken at Seasons? The series inspires me to plant marigolds next season.

    And, yes, I can see the pollen sacs on the bee!
