The day started with a briefing. Then we all cozied up in layers because it was cool and grey. Next we readied the bikes, hopped on and off we went. The ride started with some highway driving with several stops for rest, snack, lunch. We headed for the twisties and it got even colder. A little rain and some serious fog couldnt really put a damper on the scenery when we could see it and the twisties that lead us into the city of Florence. But not before a hilltop stop for the thickest hot cocoa I ever had in my whole life. Delicious. The camera was dry in storage...but I sure wish I had some photos of that hilltop fog.
