I like this place and it is close and convenient. It is a bit pricey...but not any more than the other restaurants of its caliber in our area. Hard to leave for much less than $40. after indulging myself ever so slightly with a nice entrée, glass of wine and coffee. Well why not, it's worth it to sit outside in the evening with my good friend Patti, and dine on the patio at Paulies. The night we went we were offered perfect weather, and the service was excellent adding to the dining experience. I had the Angeloni Fish advertised as the signature fish, herb encrusted and topped with a garlic white sauce. It was cooked to perfection, tender and tasty with the light summer sauce. Patti was able to order a vegetarian meal that completely satisfied her. There was no rush, despite the patio filling up and we enjoyed tea and coffee and a nice chat outside in a lovely environment. Think I might have to go back a little more often.

Delaware Chews Times Two
We knew we would want a snack after visiting the Intrepid and before the theatre so we stopped for a slice at Sal's. Just a small little joint with seating for 9. Three bar seats and 6 table seats. We grabbed a table and sat and relaxed for a bit while all the other folks who stopped by went back out with their food. Sal's is located down on 10th between 48th &49th...good selection of sandwiches and great options for some yummy pizza.
After the theatre we stopped at the original Frankie and Johnies on 45th...we ordered drinks at the small little bar downstairs. The bar tender was a little chilly...so we decided not to order dinner there.
We took a walk towards the train station and spotted a low rooftop with a crowd and a sign that my man could not ignore. Located on 8th and 40th it was a good perch and with the day being so delightful it was nice to be outside above the street.
Turned out to be a Mexican joint and the food was pretty yummy

A Mid Week Post of FALL Glory and Delaware Chews at home.
It was such a happy lunch with Hubby and Nephie made happier with Ruthy who grabbed this shot...well she wasnt very familiar with Olympia so I helped it out a bit with some post processing to adjust the exposure, a little burning to help that along...and finally a crop. THANKS RUTHY for giving me something to work with so I could have this image with Aaron.
Woke up on Monday to a very foggy river..took me so long to get out there that most of it had burned off with the sun coming up.
Then it became a stay at home and do something with all those tomatoes I picked at the farm last week so I tried something new from my cooking with bean book and have to say it was pretty tasty.
Kinda like refried beans covered with a corn bread topping. ALL RED OF COURSE cept for the beans which were black. YUMMY.
