New Jersey Flower Show

 

 

This years theme at the New Jersey Flower Show is MARDI GRAS. The Convention Center is the perfect place for this show allowing easy movement through all the exhibits and venders.   It was great fun having a visit with Kathy on Bourbon Street and a preview of Spring here in NJ.

PHOTOSHOP is PHUN and PHRUSTRATING

I am having a lot of fun playing in Photoshop but it can indeed be frustrating. 

I look toward the night moon for some inspiration

 

 

 

Cant figure out how to soften the edges where the two images connect....

 

I am however, learning to use some of the tools and finally broke through my total lack of understanding of LAYERS.  Now I at least get it, but wheeew still need lots of practice.

Think I'll to take a walk and pick some flowers at the Kalideaflower Farm to clear my mind.

You Say Its Your Birthday

It happens every year and this year we decided to share it.

Furman's birthday fell on a Saturday night and we couldnt think of anything better to do than invite a few friends.  10 was a perfect number for comfortable seating around the table and food prep, and what a feast we had. 

Kathy started us off with an appetizer and prepared some home made cranberry sauce.

Ruth provided the salad.  The rest of the guests contributed libations and help.

 

The Pea Diet works so much better when you add turkey, stuffing, potatoes and gravy.  The turkey was particularly delicious if I must say so myself.  I will forever and always brine my turkeys

 

Of course, we could not invite everyone and Jack was left out.

 

Phyllas Dylafire was invited but only available for a short appearance.  She left us with a warm glow for the remainder of the evening.

There's a Place in the Sun

 

Where there's hope for everyone.......

What fun it was to spend some quality time with a life long friend in her new place in the

Florida Sun.

 

We were liesurely able to watch the sun set and rise and had the pleasure of watching a full moon rise.   We enjoyed long walks, long talks, good food and grand mood.
