If you are walking around in Lambertville and find yourself hungry and you have not planned ahead, walk on over to Walkers on Bridge Street or Welsh's on South Union and grab yourself a bottle of wine before heading north on Union to the Caffe Galleria for dinner and dessert. The new location for this restaurant boasts an airy spacious dining atmosphere a block from the center of town. My companion and I each ordered a salad and shared clams over linguini. The food was decent and portions were perfect and we had just enough room for some Gelato for dessert. Service was excellent. I think it might be nice to return for lunch or dinner and sit on the porch. Yes, I think that might be nice.

Dont Give Up
I was thinking that there was not enough interest in this blog to keep it going...AND THEN
I decided to think AGAIN...WHY is there little interest I asked myself.....Ill have to give this a lot of thought.
Photography is a funny thing. Sometimes I download a few hundred images and can only find one or two that make me really want to stop and look. Other times, it seems like there are only a few deletes.
Time to self assess as to WHY
WHY WHY WHY?
I'm going to try and stay afloat a little longer.

The peonies are budding and bursting and I cant wait to see what things are going to look like when the sun comes out.
Dianthus is in bloom and the Heuchera leaves are red
After this rain things have to start looking up. Ya, I was way down low, shooting up at the honesuckle. Sure hope it is a sweet draw for the hummers.

Look for the Light Find Kalidealight
A little over a year ago, when asked the question, "What is the best advice you can give to a budding photographer", I answered, "Look for the light". That person quickly learned and has blossomed.
Here on the river the light is soft and muted today. She might like the mood of the grey cloud cover. Maybe Ill be inspired to go out and shoot in it.....maybe not. I'm looking for the light.
BIG BANG BURST A COLOR KALIDEALIGHT.

Rain Rain go Away
Had a nice night at the local Inn on Friday. Warm and happy. The bartending blondes where having fun too. Amanda was shaking it up for the camera.
The fire roasted shrimp was YUMMY
Clouds and rain came early Saturday morning and are still here now...even after a fist to the sky. HAHAHAH Working on my cut and paste in Photoshop.

Delaware Chews: The OY of Cooking and Photography
I was looking for Orange and found some in the kitchen.
Later, I found the RED OY of Cooking.
Orange was still on my mind when I added an egg wash to my crust.
I wanted to make an orange sky topping on my
Turkey Pot Pie Delicious.
I usually prepare my own crusts and tend to press rather than roll....that sounds funny. For the innards, I combine leftover cooked turkey chopped with fresh mushrooms, celery, carrots, onion, and dry thyme. To bring it all home stir in Campbell's Mushroom Soup. Scoop into baking dish and drop on the crust. Pierce with a knife so steam can escape, unless you want to put your blackbird to function.
Mine just flew over for the pic.
Happy Home Cooking
