The Delaware River is Mighty Low

If the Delaware River was as low as it is right now, all those many years ago George Washington and his soldiers would have had one heck of a time crossing and probably would have had to bear the frigid cold without Wellies.  That water is low and talk about town is that the boats will not go across Christmas Day.
Time will tell but we would surely need a bit of rain.  Luckily, if they really want to march they can take advantage of this century and walk across the bridge.

At the park Dan and his crew from Seasons Garden Center, were outfitting the tree with a new set of lights for the Annual Kiwanis Club of Yardley lighting.

The Boat Barn was open and had on display a small copy of the famous painting of the
Crossing,
inviting me in so you can see.
