Photo Challange and a Little Chew

The photo challenge has me shooting everyday and I absolutely love it. But sometimes it is just too cold or I just dont want to go outside, thus the food pics.  Furman took the day off on Friday and we took the train in to New York so we could go to the International Motorcycle Show.  Isnt that BMW pic cool?  It is a picture of a life size bike in front of a giant poster.  It looks like a toy.  After the show we had to CHEW.

So we walked 2 blocks to the Hudson Station Bar and Grill and were really glad we did.  It was convenient to the Jacob Javits Center, warm and cozy, and our server Lauren was tops.    We shared a bowl of Mushroom, Beef and Barley Soup that helped us warm up.  I ordered an Ahi Tuna Sandwich and Furm ordered Not Your Mama's Wedge Salad.  We shared both and both were delicious.  The tuna was cooked to order perfectly, medium rare and served with some slaw on a giant bun with waffle fries on the plate.  The wedge salad would have been enough for two without the sandwich. It was gigantic.  A huge wedge of  romain lettuce with cubes of slab bacon and turkey and lots and lots of blue cheese dressing....oh so yummy.  Furm had a beer and I had a coffee with Kahlua and our bill with tip was $63.  It is close enough to the train station that I think it could be a spot to go again and again.  As much as I like trying new places it is always good to have a couple that are familiar and promise good eats.
