It is much better if you can wait for the rain to stop and then walk. Not too many folks out and about when the weather is like this and I kinda like it that way. The woods are quiet except for the sounds of the leaves falling and the residual rain dropping through the trees, bouncing from limb to limb, resting for a moment on a yellow leaf before slipping to the forest floor. The wet leaves barely crunch as you step on them. Yes, I like a walk in a wet woods.
